Synopsis: A long time family feud between two Kentucky families is interrupted by the Civil War but heats up again with the cold blooded killing of kindly Grandpa Spelvin, the patriarch of the Hayden family. Jed Colby (Noah Beery) is sent to prison for the murder, but he's paroled 15 years later. Jed, his daughter Ellen, (Ester Ralston) and an evil ex-con, Jim Daggs (Jack LaRue), follow the peace loving Haydens west to Nevada...aiming to even the score.
