Oklahoman, The
While moving his family out West, Dr. John Brighton loses his wife in childbirth. After her death, John sets up his home in Indian territory. By the time his daughter is 7 years old, two women are competing for the doctor's affections: Ann, a rancher's widow, and Maria, a young Native American maiden who watches over the doctor's daughter. When the town bully, Mel, wants to take the land of Maria's father, the doctor gets involved.
