Synopsis: Jet Li plays a genetically enhanced supersoildier who deserts after becoming fed up with assassination and subterfuge. He attempts to lead a peaceful life as a librarian who keeps to himself, his only friend a gruff policeman with whom he plays a regular game of chess. Jet soon finds that his former students in the military have also deserted to form a murderous robery crew headed by his top pupil.
