Synopsis: A lonely 10-year-old girl (Annasophia Robb) adopts an orphaned dog, Winn-Dixie (named for the supermarket where she found him), who helps her make friends in a small Florida town. The inseparable bond between the girl and her beloved companion unites the townspeople and helps heal her own troubled relationship with her father.
