Synopsis: Inner-city hoops drama about race, class and the nation's premier high school player. To get the phenom to his alma mater, the governor strikes a deal with the hoopster's estranged father, who happens to be in the big house for killing his son's mother: Get him to sign in a week, or it's back to jail.
