Synopsis: The Glittering Prizes was a critical sensation when it premiered on PBS in the late 1970s. Frederic Raphael?s tale portrays the hopes and frustrations of an entire generation through the story of a group of friends who meet the prestigious Cambridge University in the 1950s.
