General:


Synopsis: Jake Barnes, a journalist from the United States, comes out of World War I injured and disillusioned. Rather than return home, he chooses to leave his past behind and move to Paris, where he meets an aimless group of bohemian expatriates. His new friends include the seductive Brett Ashley and her lover, the reckless alcoholic Mike Campbell. Together, they pursue a hedonistic, directionless lifestyle until Brett's affection for Jake complicates matters.
